Mary Ann is an Executive Chef of the Italian Federation of Cooks and worked with the US Air Force in Italy. Aside from being an Italian Chef, she has a vast experience in international foods. I started COOKING WITH AMORE because having moved to rural Maine I found it almost impossible to find cooking supplies and specialty products.  It means having to go to the nearest large city which would take over an hour. Then the dilemma was:  will I find the product I want, will it be at the right price, will there be a good assortment? Well, ninety times out of a hundred it was a definite no!   

That's why I thought of making an online store that would satisfy all cooks. Most importantly it is for the person cooking at home, which during the pandemic became not only a necessity but a way of life taking many of us back to our childhood which meant that going out to dinner was a luxury!  Many are loving the experimenting with new methods of cooking, flavors, and more! I personally started decorating cookies – something that I had never done before.

Along the way, I found so many hidden sources and gems for the art of cooking. I felt like I could continue to do what I love best in the comfort of my kitchen.
